Robert E. Amos

“I am running to stop the price gouging that has gone on for decades with respect to the insurance industry in Mississippi.”

Mike Chaney

“I am running for reelection in order to protect insurance consumers. As an active member of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and a state regulator, I influence decisions made in Washington, with Mississippians best interests in mind. My priorities while in office remain steadfastly committed to consumer protection and application of technology for efficiency of the department to serve the state and consumers. Under my direction, the department is making strides in healthcare reform; disaster recovery from flood, tornado and hurricane events; bail bond industry reform; cybersecurity and reductions in state fire deaths. “

Robert E. Amos

“I hope to approve reductions in insurance premiums as well as provide access to insurance for over 300 thousand Mississippians to save lives and our rural hospitals.”

Mike Chaney

“My aim is to create the highest degree of economic security, quality of life and public safety for citizens at the lowest possible cost. In 2018, my office returned more than $3,500,000.00 in claims to consumers. I want to continue giving Mississippians back their hard-earned money. Insurance should be easier, not harder. There should be more choices with better rates. I got in the race for insurance commissioner in 2007 to make a positive difference, which I have done. I’ve stayed in the race to make sure insurance is accessible, affordable and accountable. “
