“The health beat touches everything in a person’s life ranging from birth to death. The disparities and lack of access to health care in Mississippi make good reporting on this topic even more vital. I’m thrilled to lead a team that will shine a light on how the health care system in this state is, and is not, working.”— Kate Royals
