W. Ralph Eubanks, a Mississippi native, is an author, writer and essayist. He has contributed to a number of national publications, including the Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and The New Yorker and published three books. Currently he is the faculty fellow at the Center for the Study of Southern Culture at the University of Mississippi and is at work on his next book, focusing on the Mississippi Delta.
