If you pass at 97 and people think you’ve left the world too soon, you’ve lived a powerful and meaningful life. I am grateful I got to spend a little of time with Governor Winter (he wrote the forward for one of my books) and will miss his leadership and kindness.

He’s also host of a weekly statewide radio program and a television program on Mississippi Public Broadcasting and is the author of several books. Marshall is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and a 2019 recipient of the University of Tennessee Alumni Professional Achievement Award.
