Joe Biden, the former vice president and Democratic presidential candidate, made a campaign stop in Jackson, Mississippi, Sunday, March 8, 2020. During his stop, he visited New Hope Baptist Church and spoke to his supporters during the Get Out the Vote Event at Tougaloo College’s Kroger Gymnasium. U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, Deval Patrick and Vivica A. Fox attended Biden’s event at the historically black college. Mike Espy, the former congressman and U.S. secretary of agriculture, endorsed Biden earlier in the day. Here are photos from Sunday’s events.
