Election Day is Nov. 6 and Mississippi Today is partnering with Electionland, a national project of ProPublica, to cover issues at polling places – including problems  with ballots, registration and long lines.

Electionland is working with newsrooms around the country to report problems that “prevent eligible voters” from voting. If you have a problem or want to share a tip, Mississippi voters can contact Electionland using the methods below or contact the Mississippi Today newsroom directly.

Also, to see races around the state and a sample ballot go here.

To participate:
Text the word VOTE to 81380
Message on WhatsApp +1 (850) 909-8683
Use the Facebook Messenger App at m.me/electionland
Send a tweet to @Electionland

You can also contact the Mississippi Today newsroom to report any problems at the polls.

We want to hear from you!

Central to our mission at Mississippi Today is inspiring civic engagement. We think critically about how we can foster healthy dialogue between people who think differently about government and politics. We believe that conversation — raw, earnest talking and listening to better understand each other — is vital to the future of Mississippi. We encourage you to engage with us and each other on our social media accounts, email our reporters directly or leave a comment for our editor by clicking the button below.
