Toyota announced Thursday the company is investing another $170 million in its Blue Springs plant and hiring another 400 workers, according to The Daily Journal.

Groundbreaking for a separate $10 million, 15,000-square-foot visitor and training center, scheduled to open in November 2019, was canceled Thursday because of rain.
