Greentech, the electric car company that shut down its plant in Mississippi last year, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy this week. Greentech Automotive, founded by former Va. Gov. Terry McAuliffe, lists among its debts $4.8 million owed to the state of Mississippi and Tunica County, which offered economic development incentives to entice the car company to locate its manufacturing facility here.
