The Mississippi state flag will fly again at all Ocean Springs city buildings with a flag pole, The SunHerald reports.

Last week, Ocean Springs Mayor Shea Dobson, who recently raised the state flag over city hall for the first time in several years, took it down after residents raged against its Confederate battle symbol.

But on Tuesday, the Ocean Springs Board of Aldermen voted 6 to 1 to require the flag be flown.
